Same thing happen to mine except it was the capasitor on the ballast that blew. Now I have went through three of them and cant find a new power supply.

New ballast has failed.
What would cause a old and then a new ballast to fail? Both had blow capacitors? Removed fans and checked. Appear to work fine. Ballast has brown oil coming out top.... Three blinking light syndrome...... Replaced the bulb. (Not Fixed, Found this site for next step) Next replace the ballast.
