Samsung HL-R4266W Problem
I turned my TV off at 10:00 pm (everything was fine). I turned it back on the following day at 12:00 pm but I only get sound but no picture. I don't think it is the lamp because when I press the "Mute" button, I can see "Mute" displayed on the TV and when I press the "Volume" button, I can see the "Volume Levels" displayed on the screen. Also, when I press the "Menu" button, the "Menu" is fully visible on the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if I read this particular "fix" on this forum or somewhere else on the internet but someone suggested that you should slide the bulb out about 6 or 8 inches and then slide the bulb back in place, wait about 30 minutes, and then turn the TV on. I followed this suggestion and the picture is working fine. Now, my next question "Is this a preliminary sign that I should start shopping for a new bulb?"
